Does PRIMA cover psychiatry consults?

Not directly. Access and Elite include a Mental Health Wellness Program and MedGrocer discounts, but one-on-one psychiatry consultations aren't part of PRIMA. We're upfront about this so there are no surprises later.

Is maternity covered?

Access and Elite cover maternity consultations at Maxicare Primary Care Clinics (PCCs). Consult and Consult+ do not include maternity benefits.

Do I need a medical exam to apply?

No. PRIMA has no medical underwriting — that's what makes it the easiest Maxicare product to self-apply for. Pick your plan, apply online, done.

How do I get my e-card?

E-cards are sent via email and activated once registered. Register within 3 months of purchase; cards are valid for 1 year from activation.

What if I already have PhilHealth?

PRIMA works alongside PhilHealth, not against it — it fills the gaps PhilHealth doesn't cover, like unlimited teleconsults and clinic access without the queue.
